  • 25 (tentative), 12-5, Wineries of Santa Clara Valley Spring BBQ & Wine Fest at Casa de Fruta, east of Hollister. Finish our Eco-tour and hop down to Casa de Fruta to join Cooper-Garrod and 12 other Santa Clara Valley wineries for a beautiful spring afternoon in the country. The price of a ticket includes wine tasting, barrel races, live music, and a New York steak BBQ. The cost is only $50 per person. For tickets, contact the Gilroy Visitors Bureau 408-842-6436. As this is a sell-out event, tickets must be purchased in advance. Fine print: Must be 21, i.e., no children's games, no pets, and no refunds - this is a rain or shine event, but worth it.
  • 26 (tentative), 1-5, Rivers of Chocolate, wines, chocolates, and great food, was at the Adobe Lodge and Mission Gardens at Santa Clara University in 2008, to benefit the Emergency Housing Consorium of Santa Clara County.
