and Tasting - With the vines leafing out,
our April First Saturday tour will be led by Vineyard Manager,
Jan Garrod. Following an in-depth look at the vines, he will
walk you though the harvest and cellaring steps. Then, we move
to the Fruit House for a complimentary Proprietor's Flight
tasting. Be sure to sign up for
this one.

of Santa Clara Valley Spring BBQ & Wine Fest at Casa
de Fruta, east of Hollister. Finish our Eco-tour and hop
down to Casa de Fruta to join Cooper-Garrod and 12 other Santa
Clara Valley wineries for a beautiful spring afternoon in the
country. The price of a ticket includes wine tasting, barrel
races, live music, and a New York steak BBQ. The cost is only
$50 per person. For tickets, contact the Gilroy Visitors Bureau
408-842-6436. As this is a sell-out event, tickets must be
purchased in advance. Fine print: Must be
21, i.e., no children's games, no pets, and no refunds - this
is a rain or shine event, but worth it.
