  • October 21,  Music at the Vineyards, Sundays, 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.  Featuring Johnny Neri Duo - Classic and Contemporary Acoustic Rock Spend your Sunday afternoon sipping wine in the fresh air under beautiful old trees, listening to music like it's a private little concert just for a select group - which is exactly what this IS!  Bring some cheese and crackers, or a picnic, buy a bottle of wine, and enjoy the afternoon.  The series continues through the fall. Please note our ABC regulations: No Outside Alcoholic Beverages - which means the only alcoholic beverages allowed are Cooper-Garrod wines - on the property!  Thank you for cooperation in advance!  For more information on our picnic area, please read our picnic area policy. 
  • October 27, Halloween Vaulting Festival, 8:30-4:30. Garrod Farms is hosting the annual Halloween Vaulting Festival here at the ranch!   Vaulting is the sport of gymnastics on horseback; it's quite exciting!  Come watch local and visiting athletes compete - in costumes, of course.  There will also be a concessions stand supporting Mt. Eden Vaulters in the Cutting Shed next to the Tasting Room which all are welcome to patronize.  Parking will be limited.  For more information, visit  Mt Eden Vaulting Club.

November 2018

  • November 3, Walk with the Winemaker, 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.  Come walk into our Chardonnay vineyard and we'll discuss the growing cycle.  Continue through the crush pad, tank farm, and barrel room. This is your chance to ask what's current in the process. Finish up in the tasting room to see what comes of it all!  The tour is complimentary and designed for smaller groups; groups over 8 should consider a private tour.  $15 tasting fee for a flight of current releases.  
  • November 17, Santa Cruz Mountains Passport Day, 11-5 - On Saturday, bring your Santa Cruz Mountains Passport and visit the wineries of the Santa Cruz Mountains, many open only on Passport Day!  Passports available in our Tasting Room on site, at other participating wineries, and at the Santa Cruz Mountain Winery Association (www.scmwa.com).
