The 1999 Lone Oak Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is 100% estate-bottled
Cabernet Sauvignon. These grapes were picked in four
small lots in September 1999 with a median brix of 22.8.
The wine was fermented to dryness in small, 100-gallon bins
with punchdown four times a day. The wine was then
pressed off the skins and aged in eleven French oak barrels
for 20 months. 1,127 cases were bottled in August
2001.
