This
wine is a Bordeaux-style blend of ten select barrels of our Cabernet
Sauvignon (five each of our 1998 George's and Lone Oak Vineyards)
and four barrels of our 1998 Francville Vineyard Cabernet Franc.
The grapes were picked in small lots in September and October 1998
and fermented in 100 gallon bins, with punchdown of the cap
by hand four times a day. The wine was then aged in oak for
20 months. 336 cases were produced.
