1997 Cabernet Sauvignon, Lone Oak Vineyard
The 1997 Lone Oak Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon
is 100% estate-bottled Cabernet Sauvignon. These grapes
were picked in small lots in September 1997 with a median
brix of 24.0. The wine was fermented to dryness in small,
100-gallon bins with punchdown four times a day. The
wine was then pressed off the skins and aged in eleven French
oak barrels for 20 months. 231 cases were bottled.
