1997 Cabernet Franc
11.45 tons of grapes were picked by hand on October 5 and immediately
fermented in small bins with punchdown by hand four times a day.
The wine was then pressed off the skins and barreled down to 31
French and American oak barrels for malolactic fermentation and
10 months of barrel aging.
685 cases were bottled in August 1998, and the wine was released
in August 2001. The retail price is $24/bottle.
