1995 Cabernet Sauvignon, Proprietor's Reserve
The 1995 Proprietor’s Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is the 20th vintage
from the 2-acre George’s Vineyard. The grapes for this unblended,
unfiltered wine were picked on November 3 at 21.8 Brix, 3.52 pH,
and .81 TA. The wine was barrel fermented in French oak for
20 months. The wine, of which only 360 cases were produced,
was released in February 1999.
A repeat award winner, the 1995 Proprietor’s Reserve won Silvers
at the 1998 World Wine Championships, California State and Los
Angeles County Fairs, and the Indy International Wine Competition.
This limited production wine is available only at “The Fruit
House,” Cooper-Garrod’s historic tasting room for $35/bottle.
